Local Pizza opened in March 2015 bringing a new flavour to the greater Hobart dining scene. Our pizza is undeniably about "dat base". Crispy, thin, hand stretched, crafted with premium Tasmanian flour to give that signature flavoursome chew.
Topped with just the right amount of free range, local & high quality ingredients we offer a spin on the old classics packing a little more punch than you might expect.
Our small restaurant seats 40 people with our long communal tables. Fully licensed we offer a range of tap beer and cider, imported craft beer, local beer and Tasmanian, Natural and Italian wines and Spritz (No BYO sorry). Local Pizza offers both takeaway and dine in options.
We pride ourselves on minimising our environmental impact and for this reason we only eco friendly packaging and have done since 2015. All clear containers and straws are made from compostable sugar cane or plant starch.

GLUTEN FREE PIZZA
All pizzas can be made GF. Gluten Free pizzas are cooked on the same surface as wheat pizzas and are smaller at 26cm, we recommend one per person. Your pizza will come into contact with gluten as our pizza bar has high amounts of gluten on all surfaces as does the pizza oven, please keep this in mind.
